Despite the "monster" they dealt with, this family was such an inspiration as we struggled with our own "monster" when my son was diagnosed with leukemia. Captain Mulumba's professionalism, dedication, strength, courage, faith, spirit, love and kindness she shared with not only Carol but all of her patients. The pediatric hematology-oncology family is a very close knit group. When one struggles we all do; it affects us all. So, I give thanks for being blessed by this wonderful family, to the Air Force and the doctors, nurses and medical staff at Wilford Hall Medical Center. Thank you for this feature story appearing in the Air man magazine.
Respectfully,
Kristina Estopier.

Dear,
I am an employee at Radio Sapientia. I am very much interested in this program though most of the time it finds me so busy to listen to it. I would like to thank you for such a commendable job educating the masses on sickle cell! Can I have a picture of your child that recovered from Sickle Cell and a short message to the people of Uganda to put in Radio Sapientia Magazine for 2009? I will be grateful when you send me this information.

Hi Lukiah,
Thanks for the wonderful work you are doing back home. I read the Promoter magazine/news letter you sent. It clearly shows how generous you're with your money, time, commitment and above all your wisdom. Aren’t many people of your calibre around? Keep up the good work. God bless you all. Greetings to Mulumba and the children.

Hi,
I am very interested in the sickle cell participation. However, I am not sure if I can be available that time you suggested. Please keep me posted and I will pass on my thoughts and ideas .Thanks for inviting me to be a member of this organization which I know is very important in your life and family. It is always nice to give back to those who do not have the access to healthcare especially in Uganda where it is needed most. Good work Captain Lukia. Keep it up. God bless you and our daughter Carol. God bless America too for its opportunities. A prayer to our beloved child and daughter Carol. I always and still thank God for that miracle. God is good. God is good. All the time. I am happy for you Lukiah. The hard work paid off. You such a nice person for putting in the effort for the ones that are still searching for help.
Take Care.
